Director, producer, and writer, Chyna Robinson made her film debut with the short film entitled Greenwood:13 Hours (2017), a story about a family trapped in their homes during the massacre and destruction of Black Wall Street in 1921. The short won multiple awards including 3 Best Short Film awards, Best Actor and Actress, Best Edit, 2 Best Sound Design, and 10 others.
On the helm of producing her latest film, Chyna was honored at SXSW as a "Female Filmmaker to Watch" by Film Fort Worth. She has also been seen on prime news segments on the CW network in Orlando, FL, and Live at 9 in Memphis, TN.
Robinson's debut narrative feature film, "No Ordinary Love," premiered at the Indie Memphis Film Festival in October 2019, winning "Audience Choice Award" and "Best Screenplay." The next stop on the festival circuit was met with "Audience Choice Award," "Best Ensemble Cast," "Best Edit," and "Best Lead Actor.” No Ordinary Love currently has outstanding nominations such as “Best Director” and “Best Feature Film,” and several others in Nice, France and in the United States.
In addition to narrative projects, Chyna has worked as director on several commercial projects, and has recently written for a comedic television pilot.
